While browsing around a bit I found some pictures of a place called Thousand Islands. This is a chain of islands in the Saint Lawrence River on the U.S.-Canada border. There are 1,865 islands, some belong to the state of New York and others are part of Ontario. The smallest island has just enough room for a tree but some of the bigger islands are over 100km².

It’s really a very beautiful place and I would love to visit it someday. Dozens more (and larger) photos can be seen at Yousaytoo. Pretty funny to see all those large freight ships trying to navigate around all those small islands.
