I received a new product today, the SanDisk Cruzer Contour. This is a relatively new luxurious flash drive from Sandisk.
My first impressions are pretty good. The build quality of this flash stick is really good and I was actually a bit surprised. I expected the Cruzer Contour to be made out of plastic like about any other flash drive I’ve tested in the past but this memory stick actually has a metal backing which makes it feel a bit more heavy and expensive.
Another special feature of the Cruzer Contour is that it’s capless. The USB connector slides out, looks a bit like the OCZ VBoost I reviewed a couple of weeks ago but the SanDisk Cruzer Contour has a much much better build quality.
Here’s a video of how the USB connector slides out:
The full review should be ready within a couple of days.
