Me and my girlfriend didn’t plan to go on a holiday this year but because this summer’s weather has so far been exceptionally bad here in Flanders we’re considering to book a last minute holiday to a more sunny location.
The site of Neckermann (a European tour operator) offers some pretty interesting last minute deals. New deals are added every day and it’s really a last minute: you leave the next day. It’s pretty cheap, it only costs 599EUR per person for a 7-day trip, but the problem is that you don’t know to which hotel you’re going.
You can choose between a couple of different locations every day but the hotel isn’t listed, the only thing you know is that it’s a four star all-inclusive hotel.
Me, my girlfriend and one of our friends are planning to leave next week, perhaps on Monday. Some of the locations we’re interested in:
– One of the Canarian islands like Gran Canaria, Tenerife, La Palma, Lanzarote or Fuerteventura
– One of the Greek islands: Kos, Zakynthos, Rhodos, …
I’m also interested in the Dominican Republic, this costs only 50EUR more but it’s a very long 9-hour flight.
I’m looking forward to going on a holiday but one of the downsides is that I won’t be able to update my websites for about a week as most hotels still don’t offer (wireless) Internet access .
