Shawn Knight, owner of hardware and technology site OCIA, is running a t-shirt action on his website. If you buy one of his new OCIA t-shirts and post a photo of you wearing the shirt on your blog he’ll give you a linkback and send you $5 via PayPal to help cover the expenses. The t-shirts are available on HackerThreads for $12.99 (+shipping).

I bought one, picked one of the cheapst shipping methods and thought the tshirt would probably arrive next week or so. I was pretty amazed when I found the package in my mailbox this morning, USPS managed to ship the tshirt to Belgium in less than 2.5 days

Here are a couple of photos of me showing off Shawn’s new OCIA.net t-shirts:

The new OCIA shirts look pretty good. The front features some pictures of coolers and the back features the OCIA logo and slogan.

The only thing I don’t really like is the front. The design looks really good but the pictures of the coolers aren’t detailed enough.

Score! Thanks for picking up a shirt, and I’ll get your $5 over asap.

Hackerthreads did two different print methods on the shirt. The original sample that I saw was ‘digital transfer” which looked very detailed. The second was the screen print like you have. Screen print lasts longer but the tradeoff is less a less detailed image. I didn’t care much for the screen print at first, but it’s slowly growing on me :)
