German waterpark builds waterslide with looping!

German waterpark Aqua Magis in Plettenberg is going to open a unique waterslide with a looping. It sounds pretty extreme but if you examine some of the pictures it looks pretty safe IMO, it’s far from a complete vertical loop. The slide is 12.4 meters high and has a topspeed of around 65km/h.

Some guys and girls from a German TV show tried out the waterslide and a video popped up on YouTube last week. Looks pretty cool but the trapdoor that launches you at the start is kinda creepy

The Aqua Magis Looping-Rutsche (that’s German for looping waterslide) will open in September 2008.
