While I was reading the newspaper today I noticed a photo of a completely flooded English football stadium. I went online and found a couple more pictures over at Daily Mail.

Newspapers report the River Don, which flows right next to the Sheffield Wednesday stadium, burst it banks and flooded the area. One of the reasons for this was the very heavy rain fall in Northern England and Wales, meteorologists claim that on Monday one sixth of the normal yearly precipitation fell in just 12 hours.
