German waterpark Aqua Magis in Plettenberg is going to open a unique waterslide with a looping. It sounds pretty extreme but if you examine some of the pictures it looks pretty safe IMO, it’s far from a complete vertical loop. The slide is 12.4 meters high and has a topspeed of around 65km/h.

Last week when I bought a new boardshort from DC Shoes I was pretty suprised to find a hard object in the right pocket of my short. Turns out the boardshort features an integrated wax comb bottle opener! Pretty cool.

This video was shot about a month ago in Denmark. The braking mechanism of this turbine was malfunctioning and a storm caused the blades to spin so fast that that the turbine exploded. Fortunately no one got hurt.
Now I know why I don’t want a wind mill in my back yard .
