Braveheart review

I bought a DVD of Braveheart a couple of months ago but I didn’t watch it until a couple of days ago. I dusted off the DVD and watched this fine movie for the third (or perhaps fourth?) time. Braveheart tells the tale of William Wallace, a 13th century Scottish commoner who attempts to unite his country to overthrow the ruthless English rule.

Braveheart is one of my all-time favorites. Most parts of the movie are totally historically inaccurate but it’s an epic masterpiece with many memorable scenes and quotes. The movie has a great story, a nice soundtrack and good actors. It has a running time of almost 3 hours but it doesn’t bore a second. I give Braveheart a 9.5/10.
