Argh.. my online properties were down for more than 6 hours today . Fortunately my webhosting provider has very little downtime (except scheduled downtimes for server maintenance) but when it does happen it’s very inconvenient. Each minute of downtime means visitors won’t be able to reach your site and less traffic equals less income.

I’m not sure what was the cause of this fairly long downtime but according to my webhost it had something to do with a large power failure at their datacenter.
